Automatic recategorization

Important:
Starting from 10/29/2025, we are implementing an automatic recategorization process for items published via API.

Some items may be automatically recategorized by our system, especially if we detect that the originally selected category is not the most accurate one.

For that reason, we recommend your integration actively listens to changes in the items. This way, you can detect category changes in real time and respond accordingly.

For example, to determine the price, shipping costs, commissions, or publishing conditions, we suggest evaluating the impact of an automatic recategorization. Specifically:

  • Check if your system needs to recalculate or update the price when the item's category changes.
  • Consider reviewing other category-sensitive logic, such as shipping conditions or visibility filters.
